Artist Statement
I am an artist, illustrator, and writer who enjoys combining traditional art techniques with digital media. My portfolio includes observational drawing, acrylic painting, digital illustration, and artwork connected to original stories and characters.Anatomy is the skeleton of imagination. I believe that observation and imagination work together. Studying real subjects helps me create more convincing fictional worlds, while storytelling allows me to explore ideas that extend beyond direct observation.My greatest joy is to imagine new worlds and then bring them to life through art and creative writing. I hope to share these worlds with others through stories and images that spark curiosity, wonder, and imagination.Diana Patrick
