About
Diana Patrick is a young writer and illustrator who creates dark fantasy worlds filled with emotion, memories and a quiet presence of nature. Diana started writing and drawing since an early age, and Where the Dark Is Hungry is her debut fantasy and horror novel. She loves exploring human emotions, creating imaginary worlds and creatures because there is so much unknown around us.
Reading mythology and books about dinosaurs, dragons and different cultures is one of her big passions. Contemplating nature is another one. During COVID pandemic, the Museum of Natural Science in Houston, TX was her safe harbor and a favourite place to spend time working on her drawings - a space where imagination and reality quietly met.
Listen to the Silence. It is never empty...
